We often send video links to our loved ones, hoping they’ll watch them later, but what if there was a way to experience the moment together? That idea sparked the creation of Stvio—a platform where you and your friends can watch videos in sync, react in real-time, and stay connected no matter the distance.
The Story Behind the Name
The name "Stvio" carries its own journey. Finding a name that was unique, memorable, and available as a .com domain was a challenge. Instead of following the usual approach, we focused on the essence of what the app does: streaming videos together. From "stream" came "St," and from "video" came "vio." The combination formed "Stvio"—a short, catchy, and meaningful name that perfectly represents the app's purpose. With the domain available, Stvio was officially born.
Building Stvio
With a clear vision and a name in place, we set out to make Stvio a reality. Our goal wasn’t just to build another app—it was to create a space where people could watch music videos together and feel truly connected, no matter the distance. The development process was meticulous, with every feature carefully designed to enhance the user experience and fulfill the app's purpose.

The UI/UX design of the website you're browsing now was beautifully crafted by Sonu Buradkar, ensuring a smooth and visually engaging interface. This design was then transformed into a fully functional website by Sahil Khan, bringing the vision of Stvio to life. After months of development, fine-tuning, and testing, the first version of Stvio was ready. In August 2025, we launched the app on the Play Store, introducing a new way to share video experiences with friends and family. But this is just the beginning—Stvio will continue to evolve based on user feedback, making sure it delivers the best watch-together experience possible.
