Stvio is provided by TinyScratch. This policy explains what information the app handles, why it is used, and how you can request deletion.
We use this information to authenticate accounts, provide profiles, messaging and shared viewing, deliver notifications, show relevant content and search results, prevent abuse, investigate reports, diagnose problems, and understand how the app performs. Where advertising is enabled, we and our advertising provider may use app and device information to provide, measure, and protect ads, subject to applicable consent and privacy choices.
Your profile and public-session activity may be visible to other users. Messages and shared media are visible to their intended recipients or session participants. We use service providers, including Firebase for authentication, storage, notifications, analytics, and crash reporting, and Typesense for search. We may disclose information when necessary to investigate safety reports or comply with law.
When you browse or search for videos, Stvio requests results from YouTube. Search terms you enter are sent to YouTube. Playing a video loads the YouTube embedded player, which may receive your IP address, device or browser identifiers, and playback interactions. Your IP address can indicate your approximate location. YouTube processes this information under Google's privacy practices, independently of Stvio.
When ads are enabled, Google Mobile Ads may process identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from an IP address. Available advertising privacy choices are provided in the app settings.
You can delete your account in Stvio under Profile, About and settings, Delete account. You can also request deletion without the app using our account-deletion page. This removes your account and associated app data under our control, including your profile, playlists, friendships, and conversations. Safety reports may be retained for up to 180 days when needed to investigate abuse or meet legal obligations. A minimal deletion receipt may be retained for up to 90 days. Data may remain temporarily in service-provider disaster recovery backups until normal rotation.
Stvio is intended for people aged 13 or older. If local law requires parental or guardian permission, users must have it before creating an account. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to stvio.app@gmail.com.
